Galaxy Stumbles in the Chase

Galaxy lost 3 quick wickets after a good start from their openers and fell behind in the chase.

Villa Park won the toss and elected to bat. They were given electrifying start by Zeyad (35) and Mujtaba (24) both falling to change in pace from Asif. Uziar, Fawad, Arif and Ahmed scored in double figures and managed to get Villa Park a good defending total of 163.

Galaxy openers Asif (10) and Sai (27) gave a good start. Naser and Zafar were run out which brought the pressure back on Galaxy. Ejaz and Altaf helped Galaxy pass the hundred but both were out trying to accelerate the score. Umair and Asad played provided some resistance for the final wicket before Asad was clean bowled by Zeyad.

Galaxy has lost 2 consecutive games and they play stallions in the next game. Safder is injured for the next 6 weeks with a fracture to the left thumb.
